I wasn’t always this free.

There was a version of me who had all the credentials, knew all the frameworks, and held space for other people’s healing while quietly drowning in my own.

I’m a Licensed Independent Clinical Social Worker. I graduated from the University of Washington School of Social Work in 2012 and have spent over a decade working at the intersection of clinical care, community healing, and human transformation. I know the research. I know the modalities. I have sat across from hundreds of people in their most vulnerable moments and felt honored to witness every one of them.

And I was still not free.

I did everything right.

Therapy with fellow clinicians. CBT. EMDR. Parts work. Somatics. Each one gave me something real — language for my experience, tools for my nervous system, insight into the patterns I carried.

But there was a layer underneath all of it that clinical tools couldn’t reach.

A place where the wound wasn’t a memory. It was a frequency. An inheritance. A story written in my body before I had words — before I was born, even. The anxiety that lived in my chest with no clear source. The exhaustion that predated any stress I could name. The patterns that kept returning in different faces.

I kept thinking: if I just learn one more modality, complete one more training, read one more book —

What I actually needed was to come home to myself.

It was my mother who cracked it open.

My family is Indo-Fijian. 🇫🇯 My ancestors were brought from India to Fiji as indentured laborers — promised a life, given a servitude. They were severed from their homeland, their language, their rituals, their ways of knowing themselves. Then our family migrated again. And again.

I spent my much of my life feeling like an outsider — until I understood that I wasn’t failing to belong. I was carrying the grief of people who lost belonging before I was born.

Reconnecting with my mother, elders, and a Soul Tribe of extraordinary energy teachers began something I hadn’t found in any training room. I learned to work with my energy the way I had learned to work with my mind. I immersed myself in ancient wisdom — Daoist medicine, stone medicine, Reiki, Vedic philosophy, ancestral healing practices — and discovered what clinical training had given me the foundation for but couldn’t complete.

My own body became my greatest teacher.

Learning to reside in it — to care for my energy, to honor my lineage, to release what had never been mine to carry — gave rise to a healing potential I hadn’t known was available.

That shift changed everything.

What I do now lives at the intersection of two worlds that are rarely held together.

As a licensed clinician I bring over a decade of clinical expertise — trauma-informed care, somatic approaches, nervous system regulation, evidence-based modalities. I understand the science of how trauma lives in the body and moves through generations. I know how to hold a clinical container safely.

As a Clinical Alchemist I bring the ancient tools that reach where clinical work has a ceiling — Daoist Stone Medicine from the Upper Clarity lineage, Ratna Chikitsa (Vedic Gem Healing), Usui Shiki Reiki Ryoho, Karuna Reiki, ancestral healing practices, energy clearing, and a deep reverence for the wisdom of the lineage.

Together these two worlds create something neither can offer alone.

For the client who has done the therapy and still feels something calling deeper. For the person whose patterns don’t respond to insight alone. For the one carrying grief with no name, exhaustion with no source, anxiety bigger than their life.
